Harry Redknapp paid tribute to Scott Parker after his all-action display in Sunday's 2-1 win against Arsenal.
Scott and Luka Modric found themselves outnumbered in central midfield as we started with a 4-4-2 system against Arsenal's 4-3-3.
Undetered, Scott was everywhere, finding himself one-on-one in the sixth minute and sliding in for a key tackle on the edge of our penalty box in the 86th.
He'd run himself into the ground by the time he was replaced by Vedran Corluka in the final minute, leaving the field to a standing ovation.
"It was a fantastic performance," said Harry,.
"Scott's a proper lad, the type of lad you want at a football club. He’s great around the place, a great trainer and great in the dressing room.
"What a performance against Arsenal. He’s a fantastic signing for us and will be a fantastic player for this club."
