The Jaguar Football Campus Guangzhou – our Global Coaching programme delivered in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation – has won a cross culture award from the British Chamber of Commerce and the China-Britain Business Council.

Over 100 local coaches and primary school teachers in Guangzhou have received training from our Global Coaching team over the past year as part of the Club’s continued commitment to developing the game at grassroots level across the world.

During the programme, 44 primary schools have been visited by our coaches, with around 60,000 young people benefitting from coaching methods delivered within the Club’s Academy back in London.

It is now hoped that the programme will expand into Shanghai and Beijing in line with the Chinese government’s ambition to develop the game and increase youth participation across the country.
