Boro come into the game on the back of three straight defeats and have slipped to 13th in the table. Our recent away form has been promising, with four points taken from the last two and there is the added incentive of reversing the 3-0 defeat inflicted on us by Boro at the Lane in September.
"We owe them one for sure, but their home record until recently was phenominal," commented John. "They've now suffered a few losses and hopefully their confidence won't be as high as it has been.
"It is their last home game though and, like we will, they will want to put on a show for the fans. So we know it is going to be a very difficult match.
"Our last away performances have been good and hopefully we can show people that we really mean business.
"The fans that travel want to see us go up there and put in a really good effort - they saw it at Leeds and West Brom - and we're going to make sure that they see it again at Middlesbrough.
"Our away support has been brilliant."
John Gorman warns that Middlesbrough will be aiming to put on a show in their final home game of the season on Saturday.
