After such a promising start, Goran spent most of the season on the sidelines following a fractured cheekbone, thigh and knee trouble.
Nevertheless, the Yugoslav international takes a positive stance.
He said: "Last season was bad for me because of the injuries but it was also good because I was able to see the situation in England, the style of football and I learned a lot about the Premiership, about my team, my team-mates.
"I haven't played for eight months and I am determined to play again. I feel like I'm starting again and that's a very good feeling.
"I trained with the boys in La Manga, everything was fine and now we start pre-season, everything is perfect. Our target is Europe, I think we have a great team if we can stay fit.
"I am ready to play. That is very good. I can move progessively into the games and be ready for the start of the season."
Goran spent plenty of his summer break at Spurs Lodge - alongside Stephen Carr.
He revealed: "Stephen Carr and I trained all summer here. It was a hard time for us. I now feel I'm determined to show why I came here."
Goran Bunjevcevic is desperate to play again after his injury-wrecked first season in English football.
