Goran reasons that, despite United labouring slightly in the Premiership, it will still be a huge challenge, but one the team should face up to with confidence.
"It will be a great experience for me, to be honest, and I'm very excited," said Goran. "They have been one of the best clubs in England for a long, long time.
"This year they are struggling a little, but I think they are going to be very, very strong and a difficult opponent to beat.
"We have had good results in recent games and we are going up there with the same intentions of getting some points."
United lifted some of the supposed gloom with an emphatic Champions League victory over Maccabi Haifa on Wednesday.
"They got two bad results, but then got an important win in the Champions League - so that could be good or bad for us.
"We've got our game and we've got our style. The guys that are injured are getting better and better and the team is winning. So it is a good task for us, if we want to do well this year we have to perform at the top level."
After missing out last season, Goran Bunjevcevic is particularly looking forward to the trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday.
