Goran Bunjevcevic says Premiership points against Leeds would be the best remedy for any loss of confidence suffered in recent games.
Both teams will be desperate for the confidence cure on Sunday as Leeds come into the game off the back of a shock home defeat against Bolton - their fifth home reverse of the season. We are seeking our first three-point haul since the 3-1 win against the same opponents in late October.
"It is a very important game for us," said Goran. "Especially as it is in front of our fans, but it is going to be a hard game.
"We need a win desperately. Leeds also need to win so it is going to be a very interesting game.
"Everyone was thinking they were getting their form right then they lost at home to Bolton. Now they are coming here looking a for a good result.
"We have also had a bad couple of weeks so we need a good result. We need the points - for too many weeks we have been standing on 20."
Goran says that, while spirit remains strong, confidence is bound to suffer slightly when results drop off.
"When you lose two or three games the confidence goes down a little, but we have got very experienced guys in the squad and we have used this week very, very well to prepare for this game.
"I suppose that one win could change things because you get confidence from getting points. I think now is the time for that. We have not been too low, but after three games without a win you feel it a little."
