It was a slightly dejected camp after the game as the team failed to build on Teddy Sheringham's goal to register a third away win of the season. But after three straight away defeats in the Premiership, Goran views the 1-1 draw with Birmingham as a starting point.
"It was a bit disappointing because we took the lead and they scored a goal near the end," reflected Goran.
"It is good if we win the next game - every point is valuable. You are disappointed if you lose a goal, but the team are starting to get something from away games. It is one point, but it is good for a start."
The contrast in styles of the two teams did not make for a great spectacle in the rain-swept midlands and Spurs struggled to impose a passing game on their hard-running opponents.
"It is a different style of football, a different style of game," added Goran. "Because of the rain the pitch was very fast and the style of football they played made it difficult for us to get the ball down and pass it.
"It is disappointing for us but, like I said, it is a good point. We are starting to get a bit better."
Goran Bunjevcevic reasons that the value of the point secured at St Andrews against Birmingham will only be realised if topped up by a further three against West Brom on Sunday.
