Naturally devastated at the squandering of a two-goal lead against Fulham, Goran adds that the despair must be put to one side with West Ham arriving at the Lane on Sunday.
"We are all very disappointed in the dressing room and we've had a talk about it," said Goran.
"But it is normal, sometimes in football you lose. It has happened to me twice in a week now - I lost with my national team too.
"We've got to be defensively stronger in away games, I think that is the only reason. I think some decisions weren't on our side, like the penalty.
"Like I say, this is football, sometimes you win sometimes you lose. The way we lost tonight wasn't good."
The Yugoslav international accepts that Fulham's first goal, scored by Inamoto on 68 minutes, completely altered the course of the game and Spurs were unable to regain the initiative.
"It was hard for us, especially after their first goal - it was a scramble then a shot. But Kasey was incredible again in goal.
"We've got to take some good from this because in three days time we play West Ham, then we go to Man Utd. If you want to do well at this level you have to go very quickly from game to game and we must forget this on."
Goran Bunjevcevic says the team must be defensively stronger on the road, but insists they have to put the Loftus Road reverse behind them.
