Goran Bunjevcevic admires the way James Beattie has shot to the top of his profession since he first came across the striker two years ago.
"I remember when I first played against him," recalled Goran. "It was in my first season and he was on the bench at White Hart Lane, came on and no-one really said much about it."
Beattie's name is now on everyone's lips and his goalscoring prowess at Southampton has rightly earned him a place in the England set-up.
He bagged 23 goals in the Premiership last season and was just pipped to the Golden Boot by Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
"Last season he expressed himself and in the Premiership, if you do that, everyone talks about you," added Goran.
"That has what has happened to him. He is confident and he scores almost every game.
"He is an old-fashioned centre forward who can score from everywhere, great goals, great headers and he can make things happen."
