Good news on quartet

Posted on 11 September 2003  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Four players look likely to be missing at Stamford Bridge on Saturday - but it's good news on all of them.

Robbie Keane, Christian Ziege, Gus Poyet and Kazu Toda will miss the clash against Chelsea but all have returned to training.

Boss Glenn hoddle explained this morning: "Robbie is training again, doing ball work but it might still be a couple of weeks. It's a similar situation with Kazu.

"Gus has been training and that's positive news for us but he needs a game. Christian is also training and I hope, if everything goes well, that he might be able to play for the reserves on Monday.

"He's had a good week's training and if we think Monday is too quick, we'll arrange a behind-closed-doors game for him."

As of this morning, Glenn had no reported injuries from players on international duty.
