Harry Redknapp reported after Saturday's draw at Wigan that Gareth Bale 'has a chance' of being fit to face Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The flying winger missed the trip to the DW Stadium as he recovers from a hamstring problem.
However, the manager hasn't ruled him out of playing at least some part in the huge Champions League quarter-final, first leg at the Bernabeu.
"Gareth is okay, not too bad, he's got a chance," said Harry at the DW Stadium. "He should be fit."
But the news wasn't so positive on central defender William Gallas, who was sidelined for Wigan with a knee problem.
"William is struggling," added Harry. "He couldn't train yesterday (Friday) so unless there is a big improvement in his knee, I doubt very much if he'll be fit."
Look out for a further team news bulletin from the Bernabeu on Monday evening...
