Maurico Taricco has undergone surgery on his troublesome groin and was in good spirits back at Spurs Lodge this week.
The full-back (pictured right) has been out since the middle of September with his nagging problem but he’s now hoping he’s put it right for good.
Taricco revealed: “I had the operation last week and for the time being I’m feeling very good. I’ve been jogging and hopefully it will keep improving they way it’s improved in the last couple of days. It’s seems like the operation has done the trick.”
The Argentinian is still cautious though. “Maybe it’s too soon to say it but I’m happy so far,” he added.
“I’m still cautious though because I need to play. Once I’ve played and I’ve got through it then I can say they’ve done it.
“But at the moment, I had the operation last Thursday and I’m jogging so in my mind that is a good start, especially compared to the one I had in the summer which was very painful in the first week.”
Chris Armstrong is also improving after an injection into his groin problem but Sol Campbell, Steffen Iversen, Oyvind Leonhardsen are still out and have been joined by Steffen Freund.
