Heurelho Gomes says he is determined to repay the faith shown in him by manager Harry Redknapp.
The goalkeeper turned in a calm and confident display that earned him a Man of the Match award in Sunday's defeat against Everton at White Hart Lane.
And although he admits to disappointment at the result, the Brazilian has stated his intentions in helping the team pull away from the lower reaches of the Barclays Premier League table.
"I was happy with my performance, even though we didn't win," said Gomes. "It's been difficult for me recently but I'm strong and I will always give my all for the Club.
"The most important thing is that the manager has kept his belief in me. I want to do all I can for this team and help them pick up points.
"Everyone was disappointed after the game on Sunday because we were at home and expecting to win the game, but they made it difficult for us.
"Now it's the Carling Cup on Wednesday and hopefully a win in this competition will give us back our confidence."
