Heurelho Gomes insists tonight's Champions League match against Werder Bremen holds the same importance as Inter Milan last time out.
The popular goalkeeper missed through suspension that glory, glory night at the Lane three weeks ago when the European champions were put to the sword in spectacular fashion.
That victory put us top of Group A with two matches to go and means victory against the Bundesliga side in Matchday Five will secure our place in the knockout stages of Europe's elite competition.
"Inter Milan was such a special game for us, to win was fantastic," said Gomes, who sat it out with a one-match ban after his red card at the San Siro.
"We now look forward to the next game against Werder Bremen because it's so important. For me, this game has the same importance as the match against Inter Milan.
"We need to win, we need to pick up points. It's not the last game in the group but we play at home and you really need to win your home games.
"I hope we can win but it won't be easy.
"I'm sure Werder Bremen will come out strong here. They lost to Twente last time but they are still a strong team, a strong squad with lots of Champions League experience.
"They've played for years in the Champions League and we need to be careful. We need to work the same as we did against Inter to try and beat them."
