Heurelho Gomes produced a superb display to help us qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Cup before insisting: "It's just my job."
The keeper made fine saves at key moments as we drew the secong leg of our first round tie against Wisla Krakow to progress 3-2 on aggregate.
His first save was to deny Radoslav Sobelewski in a one-on-one situation in just about the only incident of note at the end of the first half.
Fraizer Campbell then pressured Arkadiusz Glowacki into diverting home Gareth Bale's cross to hand us a vital 1-0 lead on the night and 3-1 on aggregate.
Our best spell followed but Wisla weathered the storm to level the scores through Pawel Brozek with 12 minutes left.
The home side then threw men forward in a bid to level the tie - but Gomes was up to it. First he tipped Brozek's header onto the woodwork and then, with minutes left, he parried away Cleber's shot before picking himself up to gather Brozek's follow up.
"It was a difficult game for us and the most important thing was that we qualified for the group stage," said Gomes.
"I'm very pleased to have made the saves but I'm happier for the team.
"The team is the most important thing, always.
"I'm the goalkeeper and I'm only doing my job. I just hope we play well in the next game against Hull and get a win in the league in front of our fans."
