Going for gold

Harry Redknapp insists he won't ring too many changes as we go for gold in Beijing.

We take on Hull City in the final of the Barclays Asia Trophy at the Worker's Stadium on Friday (July 31).

Kick-off is 8.30pm local time/1.30pm in the UK.

We top the bill after West Ham face local side Beijing Gouan in the third/fourth place match at 6pm local time/11am UK.

It will be just over 48 hours after the lads beat the Hammers in the hot, humid and physically draining conditions in China's Olympic city.

Nevertheless, it looks like Harry will stick with the majority of the side that booked a place in the final.

He said: "We're not looking at too many changes. I think we have got to put a decent team out - we're here to play in a cup competition so let's try and win it now.

"We can then give all the other lads a game in Hong Kong. We will have a go for it."

Tigers beat local side Beijing Gouan 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out after their match finished 1-1 on Wednesday.

"It will be interesting," added Harry. "They will want to win but if we play anywhere near how we played against West Ham we will be okay.

"The lads played really well, I was pleased with them. They've showed a great attitude out here."
