Our best run this season, six games unbeaten, took us to within a win of going fourth in the table at Christmas.
Unfortunately we lost that game against Newcastle and defeat at Southampton on New Year's Day left us in ninth.
But we got back on the winning trail in the league against Everton on Sunday and we're now eighth, level with Liverpool in seventh and another point adrift off Southampton and Everton in fifth and sixth.
"Every point is vital but if you win another game or lose another game at this stage, the way it's going, it's not really influencing things that much," reasoned Glenn at Spurs Lodge.
"I think it's a team that can go on a run now like Everton did earlier in the season, Southampton have had a run as well - I don't feel like we've had a run like that yet.
"If we get a momentum like that going we'll see where it takes us. That's what we're looking for and the formula we're trying to achieve."
Glenn Hoddle is targeting an unbeaten run to plant us firmly in the European picture in the Premiership.
