Glenn Hoddle has heaped praise on Rohan Ricketts after the such an impressive start to the youngster's Premiership career.
The tricky midfielder had to bide his time in the reserves after joining us from Arsenal at the start of last season but having been handed his first team chance in pre-season, he's grasped it on the main stage.
Still just 20, Rohan has shone in what are his first three Premiership appearances so far this season - his latest display at Anfield on Wednesday night caught the eye of ITV pundit Andy Townsend.
Glenn has also been pleased with Rohan's start. "He has done smashing since he came into the team and he'll feel good about himself.
"He's done very well. He's a young lad with a lot to learn but there is a lot of potential to work with.
"We've seen that potential for a year on the training ground but now it's been given an opportunity to go up a level.
"He's proving he can deal with it at the moment. Whether or not he can prolong that form is something he'll need help with, as a youngster, but he has talent to work with."
