Glenn feels that a different setting will benefit the squad before he rewards them for their efforts with a short break before the next batch of games which leads us into the new campaign.
"We're playing Portsmouth anyway, and there is a terrific place called Forest Muir, which is a health farm with great training facilities and it will be a change of environment from the training ground," explained Glenn.
"Then we're going to give them a little bit of a mini-break to rest them and to mentally get them away from each other, because it's a long period of time pre-season. So, mentally as well as physically we let them get away from each other and then we'll re-group and start off again against Reading, Millwall, Luton and Fiorentina."
The squad are heading off the South Coast on Monday for a change of scenery ahead of the tough friendly assignment against Portsmouth on Wednesday evening.
