"Christian Ziege is someone I feel there is a lot more to come from and Ledley, Simon, the youngsters have done marvellously well.
"Steffen Freund was having the best season he's had at Tottenham and Darren has come back and played the best he's played since he joined from Portsmouth.
"We scored goals from a lot of different places, different positions, different players. That goes with all the performances as well.
"Ledley has been very consistent for a young boy before he got injured and Gus Poyet has scored 14 and for a midfielder to score that amount of goals is an excellent return."
Glenn Hoddle takes plenty of positives when reflecting on his playing staff last season.
