Glenn was voted one of Monaco's favourite players by fans and the man he describes as 'Petit Louis' made the trip over to catch up with him and hand over the shirt and a certificate.
It was difficult for Glenn to avoid a comparison with our own kitman - 'Petit Roy'!
"He is the Roy Reyland of Monaco," laughed Glenn. "He's 77 years of age, he retired two years ago after being there 30-odd years.
"He's a wonderful guy, I really got on well with little Louis, 'Petit Louis' as we used to call him.
"It's great to see him, he's over visiting Arsene Wenger - who was our manager at the time. He's come round to see us and he's a lovely lad.
"He's a real genuine guy and loves English football. He's kindly come over and given me a certificate and a shirt from when the supporters voted for their favourite players from Monaco.
"He's come all the way over to give it to me, which is very, very nice."
Glenn Hoddle's former Monaco kitman made a special trip to Spurs Lodge last week to present the boss with a commemorative jersey for his contribution to the club he graced for three years.
