The boss is fully aware that our points tally does not reflect our performances so far this season.
He believes winning at home can provide the platform to move up the table.
Glenn insisted: “Our performances have been very good this season but we’ve got to turn some of the performances where we haven’t got the points into points on the board.
“This is a big game for us, it really is and what we want to do is start winning at home and make White Hart Lane a fortress.
“If you win your home games it sets things up away from home and we’ve proved this season we can win away from home at Sunderland and Tranmere.
“We need that basis, that foundation from a good run at home and if we can get that against Derby it will set us up.
“No disrespect to anyone, but we’ve got to win these games.
“That will give us the confidence, give us the foundation to go away from home and add to the total.
“Then, slowly but surely, we can progress up the league.
“It will take some time and things don’t happen overnight but I can see something is building, that there is an aim and the players are working hard.”
Glenn added that our points tally was not a concern. “You have a concern if you are not playing well, not creating and conceding a lot of goals,” he explained. “That is not the case.
“At Liverpool we should have got something, against United, Chelsea, Everton away - that performance warranted a victory. It’s only really Blackburn where we let ourselves down and we addressed that.
“We’ve now got to maintain that level of performance. If you maintain the performance level then you will win more games than you lose.”
We are 9/1 to win 3-0 with 22/1 on a 4-0 triumph - click for details.
