Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle is expecting Teddy Sheringham's move back to WHite Hart Lane to provide the catalyst needed to bring success to the club once more.

The boss was delighted to make the 35-year-old his first signing since taking over at the reigns, and promises to follow the capture of the Premiership's Player Of The Year with more major signings.

"I have admired Teddy for many years. He's a winner and at the moment he's at the top of his game, so it's a magnificent signing for us," said Glenn.

"It's been a spell at the club where we haven't won anything for a number of years, and that's a habit. The players I'm hoping to bring in have won things and hopefully that will rub off on the rest of the players that are already here and success will be around the corner."

Sheringham is delighted to be back at White Hart Lane, and even though the treble winner was offered a new contract at Manchester United, felt compelled to come back.

"It was a big decision but I feel I've made the right one," said Teddy.

"It was a great experience to play for Manchester United but you have to do what is right for you at the time, and I feel the time is right to play for Tottenham Hotspur again.

"The feeling is just as good as when I first came here, I just can't wait to get started again.

"My target is the same as ever; to play in the first game, to win the first game and maybe even score."
