The Daily Star and Daily Express suggested the Italian giants are interested in the Ukrainian hitman in Monday's newspapers in a story that broke at the end of last week appears to be gathering pace.
Spanish midfielder Ivan De la Pena has been named as the possible bait in the deal with Sergei valued at £10m.
Glenn, who dismissed the speculation at Villa Park on Saturday, reitterated today: "We've absolutely heard nothing from anyone. I don't know whether or not it's agents trying to turn things upside down.
"What I do know is that Sergei is still playing a big part for us this season. It's a cock and bull story and until we have any contact with any club about Sergei, we'll just say yes or no.
"At the moment he is very much in my thoughts and plans. It's all hearsay, all rubbish and managers have to live in the real world, not what papers are saying."
Glenn Hoddle has insisted that Sergei Rebrov is very much in his plans after continued speculation linking the striker with a move to Lazio.
