Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle was delighted to see his young players take another step on the learning ladder against Villa on Saturday.
Boss Glenn described the goalless draw as a ‘fair result’ — a fair assessment after we were on top in the first half only for John Gregory’s men to come out and shade the second.
Certainly our best chances came in a lively early period when Stephen Clemence and Oyvind Leonhardsen were denied by David James and Les Ferdinand scooped over from close range.
But Villa had the best chance of the match after the break when Paul Merson’s one-on-one opportunity was well saved by Neil Sullivan and Luke Young did superbly well to clear Darius Vassell’s follow up off the line.
Six of our players used are aged 21 and under and Glenn said it was all part of the learning curve.
Glenn reflected: “I was a bit concerned at half-time because we hadn’t taken our chances after playing well. We nullified their efforts at goal, created ourselves and could have been two up.
“I was delighted with how we played but playing such an experienced side and a team that has played together for so long, you expected and knew they would come back into the game.
“That’s what we tried to make the young lads aware of but we stopped passing the ball and the reason for that was we stopped the movement we had in the first half. It was as simple as that.
“Afterwards we spoke about it and that’s where they’ll learn and take it on. But I was delighted with the first half and a draw was probably a fair result. They came back as us very strong in the second half.
“It makes a change that we’ve got no injuries and a clean sheet, which is something we’ve been striving for.”
Listen to Glenn's press conference in full by clicking here
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
