Jamie O'Hara admits he's happy to be back after his summer break and getting stuck into pre-season training.
The young midfielder who took such huge strides last season returned for the start of six weeks of preparation for 2008-09 with the rest of the first team squad on Thursday.
And last season's Young Player of the Season revealed he was getting itchy feet at home!
"I was eager to get back in the end - I was a bit bored sitting at home doing nothing!" he smiled at Spurs Lodge. "I actually came in a couple of weeks ago for a spell to start getting fit again.
"At the moment we're just going through tests to see where we're at fitness-wise and it's all about gradually bulding up.
"It's great to get back, to see all the lads and back into the camaraderie that we built up last season. We're all looking forward to the season kicking-off again."
Jamie revealed that he had been in touch with some of his team-mates during the summer.
"I've had a bit of banter - when Woody was on England duty, I sent him a couple of pictures of me on the beach!"
