Tottenham Hotspur Foundation will be part of the Girls Come and Play Football Festival at Regent's Park on Saturday week, March 26.

THF, Arsenal Ladies, London Playing Fields Foundation, Middlesex FA, London FA and The FA have got together to organise the festival which is free to girls who are aged between 7-11 years and are not playing football on a regular basis.

It takes place at the Regent's Park Sports Hub between 10am-1pm and some of the superstars of the ladies game - including Faye White, Emma Byrne and Jayne Ludlow - will be on hand to pass on their expertise.

The festival, timed to commemorate the launch of the new FA Women’s Super League which kicks off in April, has been organised to address the steady decline in the number of 7-11-year-old girls playing the game in the capital over the last few years.

The festival will lead to the establishment of a network of Come and Play Centres that will provide girls with the perfect introduction to the game in places where the emphasis is on fun, building confidence, learning new skills and making new friends.

As well as receiving coaching from their heroes, girls will receive a goody bag, details of their local Come and Play Centre, tickets to Arsenal Ladies first Women’s Super League match and have a chance to be photographed with the Women’s FA Cup.
