Giovani dos Santos was the star on a great night for Mexico and Wilson Palacios' Honduras in World Cup qualifying action.
The winger helped turn the North, Central America and Caribbean section on its head as Mexico travelled to leaders Costa Rica and won 3-0 in San Jose.
Gio opened the scoring seconds before half-time and then set-up the second and third goals for Guillermo Franco and Andres Guardado respectively before being substituted 10 minutes from time.
That win put Mexico right back in the frame in the CONCACAF group and allowed Wilson's Honduras side to take over top spot with a 4-1 win against Trinidad & Tobago.
The top four of six - Honduras, USA, Mexico and Costa Rica - have now broken away from El Salvador and Trinidad & Tobago and will compete for three automatic places to next summer's finals in South Africa.
The fourth-placed team will take on the fifth-placed team in South American qualifying - that could be Argentina.
Wilson was suspended for Saturday's match but will return in time for Wednesday's cracker when he'll come up against Gio's Mexico side in Mexico City.
