The evening is in memory of Bob England, who died in January and for the benefit of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Bob, a huge Spurs fan, was a former manager of Chas 'n' Dave and behind their famous Spurs hits like 'Ossie's Dream'.
David, who clinched a PFA/Footballer Writers Player of the Year double during his three-year stint at the Lane in 1999, has been studying acting at RADA with a future in stage and film in mind.
He is well-known for his charity work, most prominently when he was appointed as Ambassador for the Red Cross in their project for land mine clearance following the death of Princess Diana.
David will be joined on stage by funnyman Bobby Davro, another Spurs fan, in what promises to be a night to remember.
