Gabor Kiraly is Palace's number one and first choice goalkeeper for Hungary with almost 50 caps under his belt.
Marton is our current number two after Kasey Keller's departure and wears the gloves for Hungary's Under-21s.
The man in the all-grey kit has impressed since arriving at Selhurst Park following a seven-year stint at Hertha Berlin in Germany's Bundesliga.
There are certain similarities in their career paths, as Marton explained: "Gabor was really young when he moved to Hertha Berlin, he got into the first team very quickly and I think he was voted the best goalkeeper in the German League, ahead of Oliver Kahn, one of the best in the world.
"We talk once, maybe twice a week and have a good relationship.
"It's great, he gives me advice, helps me a lot and, as we say in Hungary, he was in the same shoes as me. He went abroad very young, has experience and gives me a lot of advice.
" I think Gabor is a model professional, a good athlete and one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. It will be nice to see him on Saturday."
Marton Fulop comes face to face with a friend and compatriot he sees as the perfect role model at Palace on Saturday.
