Michael Brown has revealed one silver lining after his long wait for his Spurs debut.
Suspension meant the all-action midfielder couldn't make his debut until the game against Liverpool on January 17 despite joining us on January 1.
Michael made his debut in that win against Liverpool and played in Sunday's 1-1 FA Cup draw against his former club Manchester City.
He explained: "It was great to get started after such a long wait and I couldn't wait to pull the shirt on.
"The only thing I would say is that it helped a lot getting to know the lads and people at the club before I actually started playing.
"Fitness wise it wasn't ideal to have such a long time off and the fitness levels were my only concern really."
