The Club will be showing its continued support for the NHS 'Get to know cancer' campaign at Saturday's home match with Chelsea.

An information stall will be situated on Spurs Square from around 10.30am ahead of the 12.45pm kick-off, offering potentially life-saving information and free health checks for fans.

Volunteers from the London-wide campaign will also be situated on the stadium’s concourses prior to kick off, with information about how you can detect cancer symptoms early.

Club captain Michael Dawson said: “Four in 10 people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. The earlier cancer is diagnosed, the better - it can be the difference between life and death. So, get yourself checked at the Lane on Saturday.”

We proudly announced our support for ‘Get to know cancer’ last month and will be actively promoting awareness and early detection of cancer symptoms throughout the 2013/2014 season.

October will see the focus switch to raising awareness of breast cancer, working closely with the charity Coppa Feel and Spurs Ladies.

In the month of November, we will be encouraging fans to take part in the popular ‘Movember’ challenge to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.

Then, in December, we will be reminding fans that you are the best present your family could receive at Christmas, so visit your GP at the onset of any symptoms.
