Alton Thelwell, Ledley King and Luke Young are with England Under-21s while Gary Doherty has been called up to the full Irish squad.
King and Doherty in particular have made their mark this season, Young has cemented his place in the side since returning from injury and Thelwell is been a squad regular since November.
Boss George said: “I’m very pleased first of all for the players and secondly for the club.
“As I have been saying we’ve been pushing the youngsters into the first team, maybe sometimes before they are ready, but they have handled it.
“Young Alton Thelwell, his performance against Liverpool when we put him in there was first class against top quality England strikers, Ledley has come on whether it’s in midfield or at the back, he’s been outstanding, and Gary Doherty, at the back or up front, has also done well.
“Not only is it Luke Young, Alton Thelwell and Ledley King with England but Gary Doherty, only 20, is now going to be involved with the full national team.
“It is fantastic for the boys and an example of how we promote the youth policy at the club. Hopefully it will be good for the boys and the club and we will both feel the benefit of it.”
George Graham has paid further tribute to the club’s youngsters on international duty this week.
