The boss was particularly hinting at our excellent home record in the Premiership and the emergence of youngsters like Gary Doherty, Ledley King and Alton Thelwell.
Currently sitting in 10th spot, we defend that home record against Southampton on Saturday.
George said: “I think it’s the best home record we’ve had since the Premiership began and the best home record since 1977-78. There are things to be cheering.
“I’ve been getting criticism, rightly or wrongly, but there are some good things happening as well.
“Ledley King and Gary Doherty have been outstanding and that is often the good thing to come out of injury problems like we’ve had.
“Sometimes I don’t think clubs shout about the good things that are happening.”
George described last week’s backs-to-the-wall point at Everton as ‘tremendous’.
He added: “We’ve been forced to go onto the back foot because of the teams we’ve been able to put out.
“At Everton it was arguably one of the best results we’ve had this season, definitely not the best performance but one of the best results because of the players at our disposal.
“It was a tremendous result. But Tottenham shouldn’t be getting in the situation that we’re so low on squad players."

George Graham insists it’s about time we shouted about the positives rather than concentrate on the negatives.
