The central defender joined us and began his top flight career in January 2000 after making 41 league appearances for Port Vale - during which time he netted four goals as opposed to one in his time here at the Lane.
"It is a nice milestone, although it has taken a little while to get there and I would have liked it to be quicker," said the 25-year-old, whose best total of league games across a season was 33 in 2003-04.
"Injuries have come my way now and again, but to say I have played 100 Premiership games for Tottenham is a big thing and hopefully I can play a lot more. It is a good feeling."
Anthony did raise a smile when it was pointed out that at his current rate he could well be in testimonal territory before reaching his double century...
"Exactly, I'll have to play until I'm about 40!"
Anthony Gardner clocked up 100 Premiership appearances on our visit to Arsenal and pointed out that he'd like his next ton to come around a little more quickly!
