The duo have been regular central defensive partners this season - a defence that recently only conceded one goal in six games - and Anthony has been rewarded for his performances with a call up to the England squad for the friendly against Denmark at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Deano feels that a consistent run in the team has greatly enhanced the Gardner game.
"He is looking great," said the senior partner. "He's got everything, has had a run in the team and that has helped his confidence.
"He is getting better with every game and there is nothing stopping Anthony. He can go all the way to the top and become a full international."
Dean admits that the pace possessed by Anthony provides great comfort to him during games when it comes to dealing with the Premiershop speed merchants.
"Definitely - at times he doesn't even look as if he's trying to sprint. He has great pace and a good technique as well.
"It is a good balance too, having Carry and Anthony either side to cover me!"
Dean Richards says Anthony Gardner has got what it takes to go right to the top.
