The highlight of Doc's display a goal-saving tackle on Shearer in the first half but our central defensive pairing were outstanding throughout.
"Doc did well and showed what he's all about," said Anthony. "At the end of the day he's an international player and those qualities will shine through.
"I thought we played well together as a partnership.You know what Shearer's about, he makes it difficult and it's always going to be like that but we stuck to our task and didn't give them too many openings. That's testament to how we defended.
"I've always liked playing with Doc. We've worked hard in training, know each other's strengths and it was good. It went well."
