Gardner back for reserves

Posted on 31 March 2003  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Anthony Gardner returns to action in tonight's FA Premier Reserve League clash against Ipswich Town at Stevenage Borough FC (7pm).

The stylish defender has been sidelined since damaging his hamstring in the Premiership draw at Chelsea in January.

He will join forces with Chris Perry - his third reserve outing after a neck problem - and Alton Thewell in a central three in our first home reserve game for over a month.

Kazuyuki Toda starts in midfield alongside Mark Yeates, who scored a hat-trick for the Under-19s on Saturday.

Squad: Burch, Marney, Galbraith, Perry, Thelwell, Gardner, Toda, Bowditch, Ricketts, Yeates, Slabber. Subs: Foster, Black, Malcolm, Barnett, Eyre.
