Ledley King insists we'll stick to 'good old English style' as we aim to get our European campaign back on track against Dinamo Zagreb at the Lane on Thursday night.

We kicked-off our UEFA Cup group stage with a defeat at Italian side Udinese while our Croatian opponents came back from 2-1 down to beat NEC Nijmegen 3-2 in Zagreb.

The top three teams from the eight groups progress to the knockout stages of the competition and Ledley and the rest of the squad are well aware that the six points on offer from winning your home games is normally enough to progress.

Reigning Croatian champions, Dinamo are top of the pile again domestically with eight wins and only two defeats from 12 games and the skipper is well aware that if we sit back and let them dictate play, we could come unstuck.

"First of all, we need to win this game," stated Ledley. "Losing the first group game at Udinese wasn't an ideal start for us, so we need to put that right.

"For us, it's best to stick to our style of football and give them the good old English way of playing - a high-tempo, physical game.

"If we play a European-style game against these teams they are used to that and it will suit them. So our style is the best route for us and I'm sure we'll give them a tough time at the Lane.

"These European games are always difficult and Dinamo have been playing in Europe long enough to know how it works, so I'm sure it will be a test for us, but we're confident we can come through it."
