Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Our Head of Medical Services Dr Charlotte Cowie gives us the latest news from the treatment room at Spurs Lodge.

Pedro Mendes (toe)
Dr Cowie: Pedro broke his big toe in the replay against Nottingham Forest last Wednesday. Although it seems to be only a small area it's so important for footballers when they 'push off' to sprint or change direction, so we will have to wait until it is properly healed which will be about four to five weeks.

Michael Dawson (shin)
Dr Cowie: Michael started a walking/running programme today (Wednesday) and if there is no reaction from this he can step up from there. We have to take it carefully though, so it will be a while before he is back in full training.

Robert Burch (ankle)
Dr Cowie: Robert's ankle injury is taking longer than we thought it would, but he has injured the ligament which joins the tibia and fibula (the main bones of the lower leg), so we have to be patient. Sometimes these injuries take three months to settle.
