Fulham took the lead through Luis Boa Morte but we levelled via Teddy Sheringham's penalty as Fulham were reduced to 10 men following Maik Taylor's foul on Simon Davies.
But the 10 men held firm despite our possession and eventually the sides were evened up as Darren Anderton was dismissed for two yellow cards in the space of a few minutes in the second half.
"It was a frustrating night for all for us," said Glenn. "We weren't at our best. We had the break from Teddy's penalty and we should have gone on from there and won the game but as it panned out we went down to 10 men.
"At half-time we said we mustn't switch off but we didn't come out of the traps and be ruthless enough and that is where we ended up not winning the game.
"I thought we were laboured in our decision-making passing the ball. When you have an extra man you have to make it pay."
Glenn Hoddle admitted his frustration after Fulham held us to a 1-1 draw in last night's Premiership clash at the Lane.
