Fredi Kanoute was naturally a content figure as he reflected on his spectacular winner against Manchester City on Saturday.
From a teasing through ball provided by Michael Brown, Fredi cut in from the flank and left David James flailing in the City goal as his shot flew past the keeper from an angle high into the net.
Even the ever-modest Fredi conceded his strike was of the highest quality.
"It was a bit special and I was really happy to see it end up in the net," considered the Mali international. "I just struck the ball as well as I could and didn't think about anything else other than hitting the top corner.
"We had a bad run but have now won three in a row. We weren't playing badly before but sometimes you just need a little bit of luck. I don't think it is down to luck only, we defend really seriously and have created chances that we have converted in our last three games.
"I don't want to say what our aims are, we just want to take each game as it comes. The confidence we have we should take advantage of and keep winning.
"We have a good confidence, a good team and hopefully we can achieve. It is the beginning of something this year and hopefully we will push on. One of our goals is to keep improving."
