Our new French striker was forced to halt his preparations for the new season temporarily with a slight groin problem, but is now back at Spurs Lodge and reports that the news is positive.
"Yes it is good news now," smiled Fredi, who feels he will be fully fit for the first home Premiership game of the season.
"It was a bit hard because it was my first day and it was a real shame. It's getting better and was not that bad so that's the positive point.
"Hopefully I'll be back for the Leeds game but now I am more focused on my rehab."
Despite the disappointment of the injury, Fredi added that he is settling well in his new environment.
"It was difficult because I got injured straight away. I've enjoyed it so far though because the facilities are nice and everyone has been good with me."
