The striker - who scored seven goals before being sidelined with an ankle ligament injury late in the Leicester game - reports that his rehabilitation is going well and, once he is running again, he will have an idea of when he can make a playing return.
"Yes, it is good and I can walk normally now. I am just waiting to be able to run again.
"I am having treatment and fitness preparation - like swimming and stuff like that.
"Once I can run again I will see more clearly when I can think about going on the pitch. I will get through this soon and I am looking forward to playing again."
Fredi Kanoute has shed the protective boot and crutches - and running again is the next target.
