Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Frank Arnesen says he's delighted to be part of the club's new direction.

Speaking this afternoon, our new Sporting Director added that the fact that the club is the first in the Premiership to take a more continental approach made his new venture even more exciting.

The former Ajax, Valencia, Anderlecht, PSV star and Danish international joins us on July 1 after 10 years as Technical Director at PSV.

"It is a fantastic job for me," said Frank. "It is a big, big challenge and I'm delighted to be joining a big club like Spurs.

"I played in a few countries during my career like Holland, Spain and Belgium, experienced playing against even more countries and I always loved English football.

"It's also a role that suits me. I've been doing this job for the last 10 years and now Spurs are the first club to really look at this structure in England makes it all the more exciting."

Frank is also excited by the youthful nature of the squad. "I have always been with clubs that have worked like that - bringing younger players through the system," he said.

"I go back to my playing days in Ajax. They are well known for developing young players and that is what we have tried to achieve at PSV."
