Fraizer Campbell scored and was unlucky not to prevent England Under-21s suffering a rare defeat at the hands of Ecuador on Tuesday night.

Our loanee striker and team-mate Tom Huddlestone played full 90-minute shifts as Stuart Pearce's men lost 3-2 at Malaga FC in Spain.

Middlesbrough's Adam Johnson opened the scoring and Tom was involved in the move that ended with Fraizer producing a fine finish on the half-volley to put the Three Lions 2-0 up and seemingly in full control at half-time.

However, Ecuador hit back to score three second half goals to win 3-2 and inflict the Under-21s' first defeat in over three years.

That shouldn't have been the case though as England piled forward for an equaliser. With only minutes remaining, Tom drilled a shot that was too hot to handle to Ecuador keeper Jose Cevallos and Fraizer was there to tap in the rebound.

However, the linesman's flag was raised and the goal chalked off - even though replays showed Fraizer was onside.
