Four miss Foxes finale

Posted on 7 May 2002  - 12:00

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Glenn Hoddle says there is 'no chance' of our injured quartet returning for the season's finale at Leicester City on Saturday.

Dean Richards (knee, ankle), Ledley King (Achilles), Christian Ziege (ankle) and Tim Sherwood (shin) are all improving but will not make the squad for Filbert Street.

The good news sees Sergei Rebrov available after a virus but with John Jackson on England duty at the Toulon Tournament and long-term victims Steve Carr, Goran Bunjevcevic, Steffen Freund, Les Ferdinand and Chris Armstrong ruled out for the season a long time ago, boss Glenn has 10 players unavailable.

"There is no chance of anyone coming back," sighed Glenn at Spurs Lodge. "They are better, improving, just starting to do some running and getting out onto the training ground rather than in the treatment room.

"They are on their way but this game will come too quickly for any of them to come back."
