Four of our players have been named in the England Under-19 squad.

Ryan Mason, Dean Parrett, Steven Caulker and Adam Smith (pictured) are in the squad for next month's European U19 Championship first qualifying round against Finland, Slovenia and Slovakia.

Dean, now on loan at League Two side Aldershot, played for the Under-19s last season but it's a first call up for Adam, Steven and Ryan. Steven and Ryan remain on loan at League One side Yeovil.

Noel Blake's squad travel to Slovenia to take on Finland on October 9, Slovenia on October 11 and finally Slovakia on October 14.

The first qualifying round is made up of 13 groups of four teams with the top two from each group progressing alongside the two third-placed teams with the best record against the top pair in their group.

Those 28 teams then compete in the Elite round next March - seven groups of four - with the seven group winners joining hosts France in the finals next July.
