Foundation launches Futsal course

Building on the Foundation’s award winning Education and Football Development Centre, the new course offers students the opportunity to gain a first class education while training and competing in a professional Futsal environment.

Students will receive up to eight hours of Futsal training every week from qualified Tottenham Hotspur Foundation coaches while studying full-time with Haringey Sixth Form Centre to gain a BTEC Diploma in Sport.

Futsal is the only form of indoor football approved by FIFA, UEFA and The FA with over 2 million players regularly participating in the fast-paced 5-a-side game that rewards good technique and game intelligence.

Futsal is globally recognised as one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with many greats from the 11-a-side game such as Ronaldo, Zidane and Pele attributing the development of their skills to Futsal, having played it from an early age.

Trials will be held at Haringey Sixth Form Centre, White Hart Lane, London N17 8HR on:

Wednesday 5 June, 4pm - 6pm
Wednesday 19 June , 4pm - 6pm
Wednesday 10 July, 4pm - 6pm
