Skipper Ledley King has given his full backing to the Club's plans for a new Football Training Centre in Enfield by adding his name to the on-line petition.

Ledley said: “I’m fully behind what the Club is trying to achieve here. I know how much it would benefit the Club and the borough if we get the go-ahead.”

“I captain my Club and have represented my country but I know that none of this would have been possible if I had not been coached through the Spurs academy system.”

Ledley added: “And its not just about what happens on the pitch, I often get the chance to see and help with the work the Club is doing out and about in the local community, something I wish I’d had when we were growing up.”

If the Club is to compete at the highest level of the game, this facility is vital. It will be instrumental in being able to attract and maintain quality players. We really do need your support for this important Club facility.

In its first week, thousands of people have already given their support to the Club’s plans for a new Football Training Centre in Enfield but the Club is calling for anyone who supports the scheme and who hasn’t submitted their details to click HERE and make their voice heard.
